Entertaiment is a form of entertainment, and a variety of different forms exist. They range from watching movies, television, and other media for pleasure to sports or games of chance, reading, playing musical instruments, attending live performances, such as theatre or dance, and the creation or appreciation of visual art. Entertaiment can be adapted to any scale, from a private entertainment involving only one person (such as choosing what to watch on television or video), to banquets, parties, or celebrations of any size, and to performances intended for an audience of thousands or more.

Entertainment often hits on themes that the brain was evolved to deeply understand in order to function in a social world; things like murder, backstabbing and the power struggle.
